Serving as a vital hub for the community, the Esquimalt Nation Health and Wellness Centre required a landscape that reflects its cultural significance and prioritizes long-term resilience. The team at Veenstra Consulting executed a comprehensive installation to anchor the facility's striking architecture. We integrated detailed masonry for timber column footings and custom stone signage to establish a strong foundation. Our crews then executed a massive softscaping program, planting an extensive volume of mature trees and resilient shrubs. Finished with heavy bark mulch beds and widespread grass seeding, the landscape provides a serene, grounding outdoor setting that respects its deep community focus.
