The Project Snapshot

Located in the Cedar Hill neighbourhood, The Woodlands at Dawson Heights is a multi-residential landscape shaped by topography, elevation change, and long-term performance requirements.

The site demanded a careful balance between usable outdoor space and slope stability. Garden areas, circulation routes, and retaining strategies were coordinated to manage grade changes while maintaining a cohesive residential experience across multiple levels.

The landscape was designed to feel calm and natural while quietly performing critical structural and drainage functions. Every element supports durability, safety, and ease of maintenance for residents over time.

Veenstra Consulting delivered a landscape that prioritizes resilience and clarity—where form follows terrain, and every intervention serves a purpose.
